Newbie Question #1

Ok, I'm 45 and just getting into the yo-yo. I am a NE Ohio juggler/ magician who is ready to add this to the show. One simple question that I have been trying to solve for about 1 month. Can the Imperial sleep for more than about 4-5 seconds? I live near Middlefield, Ohio and I think I am starting to be known in the Middlefield Outlet Store. They probably think I'm strange hanging around the yo-yo's looking at each one. Oh well. Any help is appreciated.
