Posted by modsrule - 5/25/2007 22:31it sounds like you're keeping [-pillow-] and getting results! different teams look for different things. the duncan crew is mostly interested in players that are super active in promoting yoyoing at every turn. being a champion is a lofty goal and very well worth the effort. it's a great jumping point for a player to make a name for themselves and the activity. that is where the greatest things are achieved.
as for how to win a contest, it is all about speed, consistancy and originality. it sounds like you are developing skills well enough to start making up your own tricks. i suggest that you spend some time getting out there showing the world new stuff and making them know your name. that is simply how it is done. i bet you can do it.
