With new faces becoming champions, familiar ones finally taking home the cup, and new National Yo-Yo Masters being named it was definitely a great year for the long running U.S. National Yo-Yo Contest and it’s one you’ll hear people talking about for some time to come. We’d like to give a big congratulations to Nathan Crissey, John Steel, and Tomonari Ishiguro for becoming National Yo-Yo Masters. And another big congratulations to all the champions that placed this year including Duncan Yo-Yo Player Jake Elliot for taking home the title of U.S. National Yo-Yo Champion (5A) in his first year competing at the U.S. National Yo-Yo Contest! Jake’s weapon of choice was the Duncan Barracuda and we are stoked to see another contest won using it.
